Hepatitis B Vaccination in Psychiatric patients in Morocco

Introduction Severe mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and depressive are common worldwide often have a chronic course. Due to psychiatric ( for example : substance use disorders ) somatic obesity, cardiovascular disease, diabetes comorbidities, mortality is higher in these patients than the general population.Viral diseases are, addition metabolic alterations, among most comorbidities people with severe illness. Objectives The objective of our work was study prevalence vaccination against viral hepatitis B virus patients. Methods For this purpose, we conducted cross-sectional 200 hospitalized emergency department training center. First, collected sociodemographic clinical data on admitted emergencies: sex, age, diagnosis, duration evolution, history (medical surgical, psychiatric, suicide attempts, problematic use, previous incarceration). In second step, tested anti-HBS antibodies. Results majority were male, first diagnosis schizophrenia. 92% had disorder, mainly tobacco, followed by cannabis then alcohol. Several reported having unprotected sex. 58% vaccinated B, young part. schizophrenia.92% alcohol.Several sex.58% Conclusions: Disclosure Interest None Declared
